Powell River Youth Choir

The Powell River Youth Choir is a fun and energizing group, incorporating singers aged 14 to 22. All singers are welcome. The repertoire is a relevant and eclectic mix of classical, folk, world, pop and contemporary music. Led by Conductor and Composer, Lesley Sutherland, singers develop great vocal technique, collaborate, and challenge themselves. The Powell River Youth Choir is invited to sing at community events and has toured every other year. The choir provides ideal preparation for voice and instrument instruction, and subsequent choirs such as the Academy Chamber Choir.
