Joanne Hansen Conductor
Joanne Hansen studied piano in Victoria where she completed her A.R.C.T in Piano Performance and graduated from Uvic with a Bachelor of Education. For many years she taught elementary school music in Powell River but has recently retired. She believes singing feeds a child’s soul.

A graduate of the Vancouver Film School and Master’s in the Method Program at the Lyric School for Actors, Mitzi has been actively involved in the industry for nearly twenty years, with experience in all mediums including, Film, TV, Commercials, Voice Over, Video Games and professional Theatre. She has shared her expertise with kids and adults from Vancouver to London and remains an active member of the Lonsdale Smith and Company Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles.
